"Our First Time" Sheet Music - Bruno Mars

Doo-Wops & Hooligans is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, released on October 4, 2010. Mars' writing and production team The Smeezingtons were credited with writing all songs and serve as the album's executive producers. The album's title refers to doo-wop music and was chosen to reflect simplicity, as well as appeal to both males and females.

Two digital singles—"Liquor Store Blues" featuring Damian Marley and "Grenade"—were released to promote the album. Lead single "Just the Way You Are" was released on July 19, 2010, and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks, going on to become an international top ten hit. "Grenade" was later announced as the second single, and has charted in the top ten in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, as well as becoming his second consecutive number one in the US and UK. "The Lazy Song" was released as the third official single from the album in Spring 2011, peaking at #4 on the Hot 100 and becoming his third consecutive number one single in the UK as a solo artist.

"Marry You" is a song by American recording artist Bruno Mars, released as the fourth single internationally from his debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Mars wrote the song along with his production team The Smeezingtons, who also produced the track. "Marry You" incorporates influences of reggae and R&B. Lyrically, the song sees Mars singing about a spontaneous marriage idea.[2] It received generally mixed reviews from most of the critics, with some complimenting its production and Mars' vocals on the song. The song charted at number 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 10 on the Canadian Hot 100. It also peaked at number eight in Australia and at number 11 in the United Kingdom.

"Just the Way You Are" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars and is the lead single from his debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010). The song was written by The Smeezingtons, Khalil Walton and Needlz and produced by The Smeezingtons, and Needlz.[2] It was released in the United States on July 20, 2010. It has also received airplay from AOL Radio's New Pop First station. The track was added to BBC Radio 1 A Playlist in the United Kingdom, and was released in the United Kingdom on September 19, 2010 as "Just the Way You Are (Amazing)".

The debut single received generally positive reviews from critics, who considered it a stand-out track on Doo-Wops & Hooligans and praised The Smeezington's production. It won a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal at the 2011 ceremony. The song peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream Top 40 charts and charted in the top five in other countries. It was certified 5 times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and 6 times by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Worldwide, it was the eighth best selling digital single of 2011 with sales of 12.2 million copies. So far, it has sold over 13.2 million copies worldwide becoming one of the best selling digital singles of all time.  In 2012, Dominican musician Karlos Rosé covered the song in bachata as his debut single which peaked at number-one on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart.

Critical reception has been mostly positive, with reviewers praising the vocals and emotional lyrics of the heartbreak song. It has peaked at number one in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Poland, the United Kingdom, and on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his third number-one single in both the United States and the United Kingdom. A music video was released in mid-November 2010.

"Thinking of You" is a song by American singer and songwriter Katy Perry, taken from her second studio album, One of the Boys (2008). The song is the third single from the album, and is one of the three songs on the album that Perry wrote solely herself. As of June 2012, "Thinking of You" is Perry's lowest charting single to date worldwide. The song peaked at only 29 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, her only single not to break the top ten to date. The song also peaked at number 27 in the United Kingdom. Two versions of a music video were released. One was a promotional video which was directed by a friend of hers where she is in a white and dark apartment. The second version was the commercial released version, which received positive reception from music critics.

The chorus uses several antonyms to describe her partner's bipolar mood swings, with the verses describing how they affect the couple's life together.
The single reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Perry's second consecutive top three single, after her previous worldwide hit "I Kissed a Girl".
